"2024 Harvest Festival - Saturday July 22 - date to be confirmed!

Coffee/Sunrise/Snack: 6:45 a.m. (attendance is optional)

Grape Harvest Training: 7:00 a.m.

Relay Picking Contest: 7:15 a.m. - approx.10 a.m. 

Brunch  & Prizes: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. - you do not need to be present for a prize.  

Grape Processing on the Tara Crush Pad: All Afternoon - tour and wine processing education and tasting.

DETAILS:

- Please bring a water bottle, 5 gallon bucket with your name  ONLY IF you already have one- do not go out and purchase buckets, closed toed shoes/boots, sunscreen, hat and lightweight clothing. We have plenty of ICE. 

- Our goal is to have TEAMS  of at least 5 people each. We will divide into relay teams and each team will compete against hte rest of the teams. No lifting required, volunteers who will pick up your grapes and give you a token for your very full bucket.

- Following the harvest, we will have a delicious brunch curated by our very own Chef If you have any special dietary requests, please include in the notes on your ticket at least one week prior to the event.

- Later, we will process the grapes on the back crush pad for another fun party, where you can taste the freshly squeezed juice that will later be in one of your favorites wines. We use Blanc Du Bois grapes in at least 7 different wines at TARA. We will incorporate education and tasting.

- This event will be fun outdoor nature event. Watch sustainability and be a part of nature. We have plenty of Indoor a/c space to cool off.

- Camping is permitted at NO COST for any Harvest Team Member. Please just put in the notes of your ticket that you will be "Tent Camping, RV Camping, etc." so we have a heads up.  We do have 4 electrical hookups, but you must reserve and pay in advance to secure your spot.  We have rooms in our inn, cottage, and cabin available and will provide special rates for those participating in Harvest.  Pool is available for overnight guests.
