Bottled April 2024.  Lenoir Red wine, crafted from Lenoir grapes grown in East Texas and aged in oak,  a unique and intriguing profile. The grape also known as Black Spanish, exhibits deep color and robust flavors.  When aged in oak,  wine gains additional complexity and richness. The oak aging imparts subtle vanilla, spice, and toasty notes, which complement the natural fruitiness of the wine. You might find aromas of dark berries, such as blackberries and plums, mingling with hints of leather and earthiness. A medium  body with  a flavor profile of ripe dark fruits, like black cherries and currants, along with the oak-induced flavors of vanilla, baking spices, and a touch of caramel.
